HOME is where Our STORY Begins…
Altered Art/Mixed Media
Canvas Workshop with Lori McCausland
Date: February 23, 2013
Time: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

If you’ve been thinking about giving mixed media/altered art a try, and LOVE classes filled with lots of techniques, then this is the class for you!
In this workshop you will work with acrylic paints, chipboard, cardboard, fabric, rub-ons, inks, stamps and more as you complete and 8 x 10 canvas titled…HOME is where Our STORY Begins…
Come on out and celebrate HOME, CREATIVITY, FUN, and LEARNING with Lori. Remember, Lori’s altered art/mixed media workshops can be “messy”, so be prepared
As always, Lori’s workshops are technique heavy and she will teach you unconventional ways to use various products in non-traditional ways.
Since this is a 5 hour workshop, there will be a lunch break.  Lunch will be on your own. There are several local places to get lunch near Ever After or you can bring your lunch with you.

Supplies needed for class:

  • Heat Gun (everyone should have their own)
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Scissors
  • Black Sharpie (thin tip)
  • Black Archival Ink (Ranger’s Archival Ink or Staz-on works best)
  • Quick drying liquid glue (Fabri-Tac, 3 in 1 Beacon’s or 450 quick dry adhesive works best)
  • Glue Dots (large and small)
  • Clear embossing inkpad (Ranger distress embossing, Versamark or Ranger Emboss-it works best)
