Please join Lori for a Mixed Media canvas Class that is sure to get you Rockin’.

Lori will teach you how to use loads of mixed media techniques that are oh so popular right now, including paints, sprays, inks, stamps, paper scraps, and various mixed media mediums to make your to make your own piece of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” Mixed Media Art.

This is a “messy” workshop, so please leave your fresh manicures at home .

NOTE: Since this is a 5 hr workshop, there will be breaks throughout, including a ½ hr break for lunch or a snack.  Lunch is not included in the workshop price, so feel free to bring your lunch or enjoy one of the local eateries for a take out lunch. $45

Lori’s Bio:

Lori started scrapbooking/creating art at a very young age, and has always been interested in using unconventional items on her scrapbooking pages and in her art work.  She has been known as the “Frugal Scrapper” for years and has been teaching scrapbooking, card making, and altered art classes and workshops for over 15 years.

Lori’s migration into the world of Mixed Media began when she attended an art class at a local community college a few years ago.  After studying Mixed Media Art, she became obsessed with the texture, originality, and hidden treasures found in each piece of Mixed Media Art.

Lori has a quirky, warm teaching style and you are sure to love her classes and workshops.

Altered Book Workshop

In this fabulous workshop with Sherry Mendoza, you will learn how to alter an old book
to re-create a gorgeous scrap journal album. Sherry will teach you some gorgeous creative
techniques using Ranger Dylusion sprays, Distress Stains, Gel medium and Gesso. You will also incorporate stencils and stamping to your pages, along with stunning Prima papers and beautiful coordinating embellishments. As an added bonus we are also going to be playing with Epiphany Craft punches to make our own epoxy embellishments! All class attendees will receive a copy of the June copy of ‘My Prima Place’ of which Sherry

this class we will be making 6 embellished Thank You cards using the

We R Memory Keepers line called Anthologie.   Should you not want to

give these cards a saying and leave them open for other sayings you

will have that option.  I will also bring to class a collection of

other phases that you can choose from.   These cards are lots of fun

to make.   Hope you can join me for some card making fun.

Down by the Boardwalk Summer Cards with Cheri Villafranca.Let’s take a trip down the boardwalk with cards using the new Down the Boardwalk line by WeR. Reminiscent of Coney Island, sun-filled days, cotton candy, salt water taffy and relaxed days on the seashore, these are not specific to birthdays, thank you’s. Rather they are generic to use for any event. Just add your own saying and you are ready to go. They are the perfect summer time event card.
