DECEMBER
Daily Binder Memory Album with Teresa
Each year I create a December Daily
album. I have a page for each day of the month. Each page is 1-25 and has the options of making it a full 31-day album. At this busy time of the year, having an album ready helps me feel more prepared. We will be using an 8.25×9.25 binder album that we will be altering and painting RED in class. We will be adding a beautiful FRAME to the cover and sparkly jingle bell ornaments to the binder
spine. We will do all the interior pages and the binder album will allow you to later punch holes in photos, cards and add anything to my book. Each day of the month starting in December take photos and take notes to represent your holiday season and thoughts. Please bring these to the workshop with you– yes, a little homework. Journaling is an important part of the process. In this day-long workshop, we will be hands-on painting, stamping and SEWING! Note: Sewing will be completely OPTIONAL. Things to think about including in your December binder album: your children’s “WISH LIST” in their own handwriting, the food you are creating, photos of your home, holiday plans, who you visited, the service you provided, etc. It is a way to truly capture your holiday month and how you celebrate those special times!

TRAVEL JOURNAL 2012
During our all day workshop
you will also be creating a TRAVEL JOURNAL to document EVERYWHERE you travel to
in 2012 (or you could do any year!). This brand-new workshop has never been
taught and you will love its size and texture. Create a large CANVAS 8×10 trip
journal to document all the places you go to… near or far- for the next year.
We will paint on canvas and have a completed album ready to document your upcoming travels!

Cost for all day workshop is just $85! (Normally the cost
of one class…wow!) Please note all Special Guest classes are nonrefundable but
kits are available. Class spots are sold on a first come, first served basis.  Once class minimum is met, we are happy to sell kits. The best way to enjoy these classes is an in-classroom experience with Teresa. She is truly an inspiration and creative genius.  Call now to reserve your spot for this special holiday weekend of classes!  760-630-CROP

Hi Girls!!!

Just wanted to share with you a news article that one of our darling customers wrote for us!

She is a reporter for one of the local newspapers, and shared our wonderful news with the papers readers!

Survivor Crop 10-year Remix is a total success

Shannon Fralish's photo

San Diego Scrapbooking Examiner

October 23, 2011

More than 130 dedicated Survivor Crop participants raised a phenomenal amount of money to help those fighting breast cancer and so that a cure for breast cancer can be found.  The weekend event took place October 15-16, 2011 in Oceanside and was hosted by the effervescent Camille Akins, owner of Ever After Scrapbooks in Vista.  This outstanding group of people raised over $63,000 during this year’s event, bringing the event’s 10-year total to more than $400,000 for the San Diego chapter of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.  And they do this unselfishly every year, for the past 10 years in a row, to help fellow San Diegans fight breast cancer.

There were some memorably touching moments experienced by the participants at this event.  Sonia, a recent breast cancer survivor, poignantly talked about winning her battle and shared her heart with the nearly 150 people at the Crop.  Then there was Amanda, the youngest Survivor Crop participant, who is now battling cancer herself at the age of 12. She stopped by for just a few minutes because she so badly wanted to attend the weekend event again this year, but doctors advised she was too sick to safely do so.  Amanda was able to watch the crowd erupt into cheers, shout and form a massive conga line just for her.  Michelle sang “I Choose to Live” at the Celebration Ceremony before announcing the fundraising total to the group.  Sandy and her team, Let Make a Deal for a Cure, set a fundraising record at Survivor Crop this year when their island raised over $13,000!

Thank you Shannon!!!!!

Thank you to all our wonderful participants who made this possible again this year!
