May is full of
great celebrations! We get to celebrate
mom and for many of us who are moms,
that means it’s a special day for us. We
get to celebrate National Scrapbook
Day…a day set aside each year to honor
this great hobby. We get to celebrate
Cinco de Mayo. We get to celebrate our
freedom and patriotism and a day off for
Memorial Day Weekend! And for some,
you’ll be celebrating graduates at both
high school and college levels! May also
marks the tale-end of Spring and the
welcoming of Summer. At Ever After,
we’ve been working hard to plan parties
and classes that honor these many
celebrations. Let us help you document
your memories through lasting scrapbooks
or let us help you plan your next party
through designing an invitation. Either
way, it’s gonna be a great May!

Saturday, May 10th 2-6 p.m.
Join us for a day of
celebrating
the Moms in our lives…
As you arrive we’ll take just a moment
to capture a photo of the two of you!
We’ll use the photo for a special
project! Bring with you 10 photos of the
two of you. Bring at least one baby
photo of each of you. You’ll need to
bring your basic class kit. We’ll have
the rest of the goodies ready for you to
use at the event! Then spend the rest of
the afternoon working together on a
beautifully themed album designed just
with the two of you in mind! We will all
share tea and treats, and play a few
games while we finish off the afternoon
with a surprise project just for Mom!
Just $40 for the two of you ($15 for
additional siblings). |

7 is a lucky number and we hope that it will prove to be true this year! It’s the going to be the 7th year for Survivor Crop, and we are celebrating last year’s success in bringing in over $70,000.00 dollars in donations for the San Diego Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure!
Event fee: $110.00 per person/non-refundable. Payment is due upon registration this year. Payments will be made only through Paypal.
Fee Includes: Breakfast at Ever After Scrapbooks, lunch, dinner, and breakfast at the QLN event site, Survivor Crop T-shirt, Make and Take, games, contests, prizes, and 24hours of fun and scrapbooking.
Calling All Past Participants from Survivor Crop, stop by Ever After Scrapbooks on Friday, May 2nd, from 7:00pm -9:00pm as we Kick off the 7th Annual Survivor Crop! Come and join us for an evening of fun and surprises as we celebrate 6 successful years of Survivor Crop and launch our 7th Annual Charity Survivor Crop.

Never in our
wildest dreams could we have imagined.
The little event that could. It started
in the parking lot in a tent with 50
croppers. This year, with the dedication
of 167 participants, and a volunteer
committee headed up by Sheila Goldsberry,
Survivor Crop 2007 raised $68,064.12!!
When the amount was announced, it
brought the president of the San Diego
chapter of Komen for a Cure to tears.
One year of planning and hours and hours
of fundraising later…The event has
become the single biggest scrapbooking
fundraiser anywhere. We honored nine
breast cancer survivors and heard some
of their stories. We laughed, we cried,
we belly danced, we cropped, we ate, we
sang, we made a difference in the world
around us. The ultimate survivor Helene
Barnes raised $3,800 and was a hoot as
the captain of the Wranglin’ Cowgirls,
giving the boot to breast cancer! The
ultimate island, the fierce, feisty and
foxy Pink Warriors, raised $7,100
collectively. Ever After’s second Think
Pink Silent Auction raised a whopping
$4,400 (up from $1,700 last year!) For
